Aimee Valentine is a Cartoonist, Writer, and  Makeup Artist whose green beauty education began in Hollywood,
working with talented models, actresses and comediennes who required more than beautiful, photo-ready makeup.

They wanted makeup that was also animal-friendly, health-conscious, and environmentally responsible.
Valentine pursued alternatives to mainstream makeup, and dealt directly with the makers of many lines,
learning that "green" makeup was not only better for the planet --
It was better for skin, and looked great on film..
                                                   
Valentine honed her artistry by working for Bobbi Brown, the mainstream makeup line
famous for its natural-looking philosophy, and its appeal to everyday women.
After performing thousands of makeovers, she realized that green education
was sorely missing in the lives of our mothers, sisters, and girlfriends
                                                              Valentine started the Green Makeup Artist Blog in 2007.

She regularly tests and reviews green makeup,
and writes about safe ingredients and green practices.
With ten years of combined experience in natural cosmetics
and professional artistry, Valentine brings
her green makeup mission to SF Bay Brides.
